I. Special requirements for Certificate of Completion or Graduation Certificate

Affected by the verification requirements of some institutions in Japan, applicants holding Credential from the following institutions need to provide additional special application materials. Due to the complexity of the procedures, the applicant’s participation and cooperation are required. The Evaluation Period of the Credential issued by these institutions will generally be longer than that of other institutions.

The above-mentioned institutions require that overseas students must apply to the institution for an unopened graduation certificate or a certificate of completion themselves, and then the institution will mail the unopened Letter of Certification to our Center. If the institution cannot directly mail the unopened Letter of Certification to our Center, the applicant or commission agent should send the unopened Letter of Certification and receipt to our Center directly by mail. Only EMS and SF Express are acceptable.

II. Special Reminder on the Consent Letter

In the process of verification with the Japanese institutions, our Center found that when the Consent Letter submitted by some applicants was not properly filled out or the information was inaccurate, the Japanese institutions may refuse to reply to the verification request of our Center, thus affecting evaluation efficiency.

In order to provide you with Evaluation Results in time, our Center specially reminds you to pay attention to the following points when you fill out the Consent Letter:

1. Please fill out the blank by hand in Japanese or English.

2. Please make sure that the signature is the applicant’s own signature and the signed name is the same as that used during the study in the Japanese institution.

3. Please make sure that all the information filled out in the Consent Letter is accurate and unaltered.

4. The Japanese institutions require the applicants to provide a signed Consent Letter within one month. If there is a need for Evaluation Review, the applicant must provide an Consent Letter consistent with the Evaluation Review date again.

We remind you that accurate completion of the Consent Letter is an important prerequisite for our Center to provide timely Evaluation Services for overseas students.

III. Special reminder on passports

In the process of verification with the Japanese institutions, our Center needs to provide the applicants’ valid ID photos to them. Therefore, if your passport during the study period has expired, you should also upload the photo of the first page of your passport or the front and back of your ID card photo within the validity period.
